5-Step Resolution Process

1

Direct Communication (24-48 hours)

First, try to resolve the issue directly with the other party through our messaging system.

Tip: Most disputes (70%) are resolved at this stage through clear communication.
2

File Formal Dispute (Day 3)

If unresolved, file a formal dispute with detailed information and evidence.

3

Mediation Attempt (Days 4-7)

A GoFundYourself mediator reviews the case and facilitates discussion between parties.

Investigation & Decision (Days 8-14)

If mediation fails, our dispute team conducts a thorough investigation and makes a binding decision.

Decision factors include: contract terms, platform policies, provided evidence, and past behavior.
