Our Commitment to Satisfaction
At GoFundYourself, we want every interaction on our platform to be positive and productive. We understand that sometimes things don't go as planned, and we're here to help resolve issues fairly.
For Clients (Job Posters)
When You May Request a Refund
- Work was not delivered within the agreed timeframe
- Delivered work does not match the job requirements
- Worker becomes unresponsive for more than 72 hours
- Evidence of plagiarism or fraudulent work
- Worker violates platform policies
Refund Process
- Contact the worker first to resolve the issue directly
- If unresolved, open a dispute within 14 days of job completion
- Provide evidence supporting your refund request
- Our team will review within 48 hours
- If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
Non-Refundable Situations
- Change of mind after work has begun
- Subjective dissatisfaction when requirements were met
- Delays caused by incomplete or changing requirements
- Platform fees for successfully completed jobs
For Workers (Freelancers)
Payment Protection
- Funds are held in escrow when a job is accepted
- Payment is guaranteed once work is approved
- Partial payments for milestone-based projects
- Protection against client payment reversals
When Refunds May Be Required
- Failure to deliver work as specified
- Significant quality issues with deliverables
- Violation of platform terms of service
- Proven plagiarism or fraudulent work
Platform Fee Refunds
Platform fees are generally non-refundable once a job is completed. However, we may consider fee refunds in these cases:
- Technical issues that prevented job completion
- Platform errors that affected payment processing
- Verified fraudulent activity by either party
- Jobs cancelled within 1 hour of posting (before any applications)
Dispute Resolution Timeline
- Day 1-3: Initial dispute filed and reviewed
- Day 4-7: Evidence collection from both parties
- Day 8-10: Mediation attempt between parties
- Day 11-14: Final decision and resolution
- Day 15-25: Refund processing (if approved)
How to Request a Refund
- Log into your account
- Navigate to the specific job in question
- Click "Report an Issue" or "Request Refund"
- Select the reason for your request
- Provide detailed explanation and evidence
- Submit your request for review

Important Notes
- All refund requests must be made within 14 days of job completion
- Evidence is required for all refund claims
- Abusing the refund system may result in account suspension
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method
- Currency conversion fees are non-refundable
